The 1212K Autobrake provides accuracy and repeatability when forming up to 12ft long 12 gauge or lighter materials. This sheet metal brake is a high speed solution to make multiple bends while maintaining a high quality level in the end product. The 1212K incorporates a rotating Kombi beam making this machine even more versatile, this unique tooling assembly adds to the machines straight and box folding capabilities to produce more complex shapes in less time. The box tooling is 6.3″ in height, precision ground and laser hardened to 60. Pieces are also laser etched with the length of the tool for easy box set up. The backgauge provides accurate part location through the use of servo drives and are expandable with optional backgauge extensions. The machines rigid design includes crowning adjustments to ensure accurate bending regardless of raw material stresses, it can handle a wide range of materials, easily closes hems and withstands the force generated by max capacity forming operations.
